Growers Invited to Explore Premium Crop Opportunities at Aug. 20 Open House

Farmers interested in expanding opportunities for organic, non-GMO, conventional and identity-preserved crops are invited to attend a free grower open house on Thursday, Aug. 20, at Pingree Transload near Pingree, North Dakota.
Hosted by Peterson, HC International and Pingree Transload, the event will give growers an opportunity to learn about premium crop markets, grain handling and storage solutions, specialty crop programs and emerging agricultural technology.
Presentations begin at 3 p.m., followed by facility tours, demonstrations and refreshments.
“Today’s growers have more marketing opportunities than ever before, but it can be difficult to know which programs are the right fit for their operation,” said Carl Peterson, president of Peterson. “This afternoon is designed to bring everything together in one place, giving farmers a chance to see the facility, meet with experts and learn how that can add value to their farms.”
